US 219 Improvement Project: I-68 to Old Salisbury Road

A Planning and Environment Linkages (PEL) study was completed in July 2016 for US 219 from I-68 in Maryland to Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. The purpose of the PEL study was to allow transportation agencies, resource agencies and the public to work together to identify goals and objectives, deficiencies and needs, possible solutions/alternatives, and a preliminary screening of solutions to identified transportation problems.

The stand-alone project resulting from the PEL study is referred to as the US 219 Improvement Project:
I-68 to Old Salisbury Road. The project is approximately 1.4 miles and extends along US 219 from a point on or near the I-68 Interchange to Old Salisbury Road.
